COMMUNICATIONS

Attention Leaders
If you like to demonstrate leadership and make a difference, then a position on the CHS Vestry IS FOR YOU! We have two of our most established ministries that are in need of Vestry representation and leadership: Building (currently open) and Pastoral Care (an early transition to free Karen Sterzer up to become our 2009 Treasurer). As the Vestry representative for one of these ministries, you will oversee and become a liaison for a team of already established ministry volunteers. The Building team plan for and take care of CHS building needs and the Pastoral team contribute their support for funerals, for hospitalized and home bound parishioners and provide other forms of pastoral care. The Vestry meets one evening per month for two hours and is a wonderful group of leaders to work with. Please see Chris Darrell, Dean Olander, Karen Sterzer or any other Vestry person for more information.

RUMMAGE SALE - SATURDAY, JUNE 7
The Second Annual Rummage Sale has been moved to June 7, so please keep saving those used household, kitchen and other miscellaneous items. We will also accept clean and gently used children’s and adult clothing and are looking for something to hang clothes brought in on a hanger. If you have a suggestion, please let Charlotte Austin or Karen Sterzer know! We are always pleased to accept the help of our parishioners, so please consider volunteering for a few hours and enjoy some fun fellowship!! More information will be coming out regarding the date to start bringing items to the church. All proceeds to go to remodeling the kitchen, last year we brought in over $1,000.00!
